Please read before submitting
These terms explain the permission you give Blended Frequency when you submit a track. By ticking the confirmation box and submitting your track, you confirm that you have read and agree to them.
Your rights and permissions
You confirm that you own, or have full authority from the owner or rights-holders to grant, the permissions in these terms. This includes all rights and clearances needed for the recording, composition, samples, vocals, performances, artwork and any other material in the track.
You grant Blended Frequency a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to reproduce, edit solely as reasonably necessary for DJ mixing, encode, promote and communicate the submitted track to the public as part of a Blended Frequency DJ mix. This includes publication on YouTube, Mixcloud and related Blended Frequency channels. You keep ownership of your track and may continue to use or licence it yourself.
Published mixes and future use
Once a mix containing your track has been published on YouTube, Mixcloud or another platform, the track cannot be removed from that published mix. The mix may have been distributed, embedded, shared, downloaded, indexed or cached by the platform or other people, so it may not be technically possible to alter or remove every copy.
If you no longer wish Blended Frequency to use your track, email [email protected] with the track title, artist name and the relevant mix link. We will stop using the track in future Blended Frequency mixes after receiving your request. This does not require us to remove, alter or re-upload mixes already published, except where we agree to do so or where required by law.
Content ID, claims and platform rules
You must tell us before submission if the track is registered with YouTube Content ID, a distributor, collecting society or another rights-management service, or if it is subject to restrictions. You are responsible for ensuring that your submission will not cause copyright claims, blocks, strikes or other restrictions against Blended Frequency’s channels. If a claim or dispute arises, you will provide reasonable information and assistance to help resolve it.
No guarantee, payment or credit
Submission does not guarantee that a track will be reviewed, featured, credited, promoted or that feedback will be provided. Unless Blended Frequency agrees otherwise with you in writing before publication, no fee, royalty or other payment is due for the use permitted by these terms. Where practical, Blended Frequency may credit you, but cannot guarantee that every platform, embed, repost or third-party copy will display that credit.
Your assurances
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that using the track as permitted here will not infringe another person’s rights, breach a contract, or break applicable law. Please do not submit confidential material, unreleased material subject to another agreement, or material that you are not authorised to share.
Age and contact
You must be at least 18 to submit a track. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must submit the track and agree to these terms on your behalf. Questions about these terms can be sent to [email protected].
